professional and management achievements in insurance, reinsurance,
benefit design, finance, and risk management.
In addition to
his risk management experience, Ron’s background includes:
Property and casualty managing general agent and underwriter,
contract holder, and named underwriter for Underwriters at
Lloyds and other insurers.
Risk manager of a major national
holding
company, founder and manager of two third party administration
firms, founder and owner of a claims adjusting firm, owner
of a medical stop loss managing underwriting general agent,
owner
of a medical reinsurance intermediary, controlling stockholder,
director of a life and health insurance company specializing
in medical stop loss, president of another life and health
insurance company, administrator for several self-insured
benefit and workers
compensation trusts, administrator of three multi-employer
trusts, broker consultant for several hospitals and hospital
groups,
specialist in the use of trusts in funding for both not
for profit hospitals and associations, as well as major railroads,
owner
of a captive insurance management company, consultant to
associations,
creator of various insurance funding concepts and programs. Ron
has also authored several articles appearing in the Weekly
Underwriter
and the National Underwriter.
